Metodi Igorov does it again,

Prince Albert Saskatchewan July 20, 2005; Metodi Takes control of the match setting a new Canadian Record and winning his 10th Canadian Championship, to earn the Gold Medal in Rapid fire Pistol. This important show of marksmanship has earned Metodi the right to participate and represent Canada in the Commonwealth games in Melbourne Australia in March 2006.

Igorov Metodi will be competing in single and in pair in Rapid Fire Pistol and Center-fire. His partner in the pair competition in Melbourne Australia will be Yuri Movshovich from Ontario who won the Silver Medal in Saskatchewan and John Rochon who won the Silver Medal in Saskatchewan in 2005, and the silver medal in Malaysia in 1998 will be his partner for Center-fire Pistol discipline. Hopefully they will take home medals for Canada.

2 more gold medals won by a member of CTVSP, "the club of champions". Metodi has done much for Quebec and Canadian Pistol shooters. His professionalism and hard work has earned him 10 Canadian championships a record that will not soon be surpassed. By the way, Metodi states that there will hopefully be many more medals for Canada in the future.

All of us at CTVSP are proud to have him as our member and wish him the best in the future.

That's what I am talking about!

Nikita Markessinis top 4 at the Canadian Nationals

Wow, what can we say about this young outstanding Quebec IPSC shooter, except unbelievable performance! Nikita has been an active IPSC competitor for 4 years. In this short period he has become 4 time Quebec Champion as well as the Canadian Junior IPSC Champion. However, he is now looking ahead and he has in his sights the Canadian Championship.

This young contender has become the biggest threat to the Canadian championship and he is determined to bring the Canadian Championship to Quebec and to CTVSP. This year at the Canadian IPSC Nationals in New Brunswick on July 28, 2005 he has proven that he is serious about his determinations.

After only 4 years of IPSC he scored 4th overall in the New Brunswick IPSC National, shooting against the top shooters in Canada. Tell me that that is not determination and the signs of the next Canadian Champion.

As a member at CTVSP Nikita can be seen at the range at least 2 times a week and shoots about 2000 rounds a month. This is what makes a champion, determination and commitment to the sport.

Tommy Markessinis, Nikita's dad, is himself a master class shooter, Tommy is always at his side keeping in stride with his son. This is a true father and sin team, where both are committed to the sport. Tommy as a long time member at our club and is often seen offering his advise and experience to the younger IPSC shooters.

At CTVSP we are right there behind them offering our support and encouragement ..Bravo to this unbelievable duo.

 Nikita Markessinis:

What more can we say about Nikita. Once again he has taken back to Montreal honors from the Canadian Nationals. Our Canadian junior champion makes us all proud at CTVSP. His dad Tommy Markessinis, who is also a top IPSC competitor stands proud beside his son. Great work Nikita we are all proud of you.
