It is heart warming to see the dedication of our IPSC competitors. With only a small numbers of competitors once again we were able to collect $ 2, 275 dollars. Where do we start to say thank you. The generosity of our members and competitors was once again outstanding.

Again this year we will buy breakfast foods for Christmas baskets. The food we buy will mainly target the needs of children. It s our sincere hope that during the holidays our club will be play an active part in the creation of Christmas baskets for the needy. Although we may not be present at the presentation of these baskets, in our hearts we will know that our dollars will bring a smile to a family during the holy holidays, and that these baskets will be donated by associations that are not new to fill the needs of the needy .

No one should have to be hungry during the holidays, especially not the children. Although we can not care for all the children, our donations will touch many, and this will bring joy to our hearts and to the families that are really in need. CTVSP has a history of being generous and this year was no exception. We at CTVSP would like to thank all those who so generously participated in this 2009 Charity match.

 How much did we collect

CTVSP will continue to keep it's commitment in matching any donation over $100.00 dollars and will do so with joy. Marco and Luigi should be commended for this act of kindness and we all thank them for having this match every year.

I would also like to take a moment to thank all those who helped put this match together. Their help is and will always be greatly valued. The match director for this match was Daniel Coulombe and as usual his matches are fun and full of surprises and this one was no exception. Naturally the list of helpers goes on, and not wanting to risk missing one single person who helped, I will just simply say thank you all for helping us make this match a success.

Now we are all aware that Mr. Henri Cardinal has become an Ontarion, and lives in Kingston Ontario, however we will not hold that against him. Naturally they have gained a great knowledgeable instructor and a great computer. Our loss was surely their gain. Our dear friend Henri Cardinal, is always first in line when it comes to our Charity match this year was no exception. He is always ready to offer his time for any of our matches in particular this very important Charity match.

The rewards we get from any Charity drive is in seeing where your donations end up. This year we decided to forward your donations to the NDG food bank. The reason for the change from Lachine food bank to the NDG food bank was due to the fact of the increase of the people in need in the NDG area. The people in charge of the NDG food bank were almost moved from all the food that we brought and were thankful for the donations of all the guests and members of the Club de Tir Ville St. Pierre.

We also donated $1000.00 to the just for kids foundation that buys equipment for The Montreal Children's Hospital.

We would all like to thank you for making this possible.

There is always a great appreciation for the time that our members dedicate to our matches. Without the help of our members these matches would not be possible. This is a great moment thank all those who through the IPSC year give their time and expertise to help us put together great entertaining matches. As you can see Serge shows his appreciation for Peter's help on the day of the Charity Match. Now how friendly is that?

All kidding aside thank you all for your continued support and help.

I have not had a chance to introduce our newest Staff member at CTVSP. His name is Keith. We wish to welcome Keith aboard. We are confident that Keith will be a valuable asset to our Club. Keith is extremely knowledgeable in all firearms, restricted and non restricted. He will be able to order any part or firearm that you may require and that we may not have in stock. In the short time that Keith has been with us, he has already, a hands on regarding the affairs of the Club and can assist you accurately and promptly. I would therefore like to officially give him a warm welcome as part of the CTVSP Staff.
